For sure.. Its a LOT of truck! If anyone in this area has any F100 they would be interested in trading for a very, very nice motorcycle. Speak up! IM in Oregon. I sure can sell the bike, trading is just easy...
You had asked about way a 56 F600 truck with a hoist and the pictures show it to have a grain box. A few months ago I purchased a 1956 F600 Custom Cab, 272 Heavy Duty, four speed with two speed rear end and very good 8.25 by 20 inch tires. The truck has 56,000 miles on it and given the excellent condition (no rust and original paint I suspect the mileage may be accurate. I purchased it for $4600 on an online auction. For me there was about $1,000 of the $4,600 that was sentimental value. But at least one other person thought it was worth $4500. This truck was exactly what I wanted in every respect so when the auction began there was only one question left, how much. I knew I was going to buy it.
I believe it is still for sale, but he "wants" 8.5 for it. I was going to trade, that is less painful. I can give you more info? What state are you in?
I do want something I can drive to town in often, prolly good I was talked abut of it... Somebody will have a good trade for me!
Thank you for your comment. This truck was exactly what I wanted so I especially appreciate your positive comments. I hope (but do not commit) to do a series of updates on this wonderful 56 F 600. Time will tell if I can live up to my asperations.
