I spent 3 days researching thanks to Manitoba Canada ford found a kit. The kit is fords BL3Z6D256C that's phaser main chain gaskets for 500.00 for some reason the one valve cover gasket isn't in the kit. There are two options mine was BR3Z6584B was 15.65 then the recommended rtv is TA357 it was 38.73 my local dealer wanted 250.00 a piece for the phasers. I will try to down load the part list from Canada. I still want to replace the rest of the parts but have to wait till next month to buy them....EDIT I bought the part here in Iowa. Canada dealer only place that listing kit
well it took me 4 weeks to complete ended up replacing, water pump, thermostat, tensioner as old one was over extended which made the ratchet pawl break. So nice no more rattle on start. Also no noise while running as water pump bearing was shot don't know why it never leaked. Also the belt tensioner was shot. Put on a new front cover also that way didnt have the mess of cleaning it. Found the corner of the head had a rough spot like something had hit the sealing area making it leak oil. Filed the burr off of it. I think it cost me around 2500 to do all this. My kids saved me as I cant do this kind of work anymore. I never realized how bad off I am. But I'm thankful to have it done...
Raising this thread as I suspect this is what I have going on in my 2011 F150 KR with the 3.5L Ecoboost motor. Rattling like a diesel at cold start up.
Well its not that bad of a job. I replaced the front cover that way mess was a lot smaller. Also change the inside water pump while your in there. No impeller on it but that's what ford calls it. Look at the tensioner real close is the pawl broke off the tip. I bought a balancer puller that fit crank and the phaser pin kit both off of eBay. There is a member on here think his name is fordtecno or some thing like that he has step by step video of this job makes it like you have done it before. Make sure and watch it a few times makes it a lot easer. Sorry cant remember his member name.
Thanks for posting the kit parts info. I have a 2012 with 215k miles on it and to my knowledge has never had the timing done. Started to get the rattle. Bought the BD diesel manifolds for both sides, new stainless coolant lines for the turbos, turbo gasket kits, Mellin pump and looking to get all the timing parts to chain everything up front. Big job but I bought this truck 5 years ago with 72k miles on it and it has been fantastic with minimal mechanical issues to deal with. Anything else I need to change? Thought about the turbos but didn't want to spend another $1500.

Well the kit don't have the crank gear. Or the two smaller chains. There so short be hard for them to enlarge.
