Anyone know how long this will take? doing it myself on Saturday. I am planning on 3-4 hours?

1-2 hours should be enough if you have right tools and watch some youtube video. You will not be able to see behind manifold, so you need to just feel around it.
Make sure you run knock sensor wires above IMRC rods.

Skip through engine replacement video below and just watch intake manifold removal and installation part.

Just realized you have 4.6. It will be a little different, but looks like it will be easier than 5.4 and there is no IMRC to deal with and have more room. I think you still have to take alternator out to remove it.

Yeah, i cant get it out without taking the alternator off. I'm waiting on the part. I have been leaking coolant. I took thermostat off and in the housing there is a bulge in the rubber gasket causing coolant to flow out of the thermostat housing. Such a small fix but i have to replace entire manifold.

Was it only leaking externally, or did it leak into intake as well? If coolant got into intake, it can kill catalytic converters as well.
