Not the normal cold start

A little history. Full force 160/0 injectors about 8 months ago new ucvh new motor Craft glow plugs all from FF. fresh oil change and fuel filter yesterday. new motor craft ipr yesterday. 6month old icp. Now to the problem went to start after work and truck started and immediately shut off . thought wow that was weird. then started right up but when i got home getting off highway it started shaking real bad got home revved a few times it cleared up. but the next morning it tried to start but took a long time to crank and finally started and was rough for about 30 seconds and cleared up again. ok so now I know I have an issue. that's when the oil and fuel filter change and ipr was done. still the slow start and rough running until oil pressure came up and cleared so I went out to start this morning and it tried to start but just wouldn't catch. this afternoon after work when I just cranked and cranked till it finally started again ruff but cleared up after awhile. got the truck warm shut off and now running rough again like only firing on one side,

cany anyone point me in a direction to go with this?

You need to pull the codes, record the code, clear codes, then pull them again. After you do that run a buzz test.

I am wiling to bet if half the engine is not running it is time to do cover gaskets and harness.
BUT FIRST GET PROOF.

Also...
You can not pull PERDEL's unless you are above 130 oil temp if I remember correctly.

Ok pulled codes nothing, did buzz test all sound strong and same tone thru buzz test

3/4 and my pillar gauge gives me 63lbs at idle and drops to 59 full throttle

How is the engine oil level? Before the next cold start, check the oil level in the HPOP reservoir - it is within about 3/4" inch from the top?

Can you post the error code screen from FORScan? Would like to see if there on clues from any unrelated areas.

What happens if you unplug the ICP sensor and try to start it? How do the pigtails to the ICP and IPR look?

Where did you buy the motorcraft IPR and ICP? Do you still have the packaging? Some knock-offs have subtle packaging grammar or spelling issues as clues.

What brand was the ICP, you mentioned everything else being Motorcraft

IPR nut tight?

Where did you get the ipr? Swap old one back in and try it. Good chance new one is junk.

Don't worry, the injectors are from Full Force so he's probably getting good at swapping bad parts right out the box

Fresh Rotella full and new oil filter but changed all that after this happened icp and ipr from full force new pig tail on icp but it was running like crap before all this work.. didn't check hpop reservoir yet but will do after work today i will get codes from forscan again

no ned to switch ipr did this before I put new one in

Been there with them/
one of the 8 had very high perdel and a bas miss sent it back for replacement

OK another thing while it was missing on 1 3 5 and 7 shown by high perdel on those cylinders I ran the buzz test. am I correct in assuming the uvch is good and connected? from buzz test
