heated seat question
I have a 2006 Explorer XLT which does not currently have heated seats. When I pop the dummy panel where the switches would go there is a wire harness plugged into the dummy panel. When I look underneath the passenger seat there is a couple of wiring harnesses. The passenger seat is not a power seat like the driver seat is. Does this mean that the truck has heated seats but the switch was not placed during production?

Are the harnesses under the passenger seat connected to a harness in the truck? Do the seats on your Explorer have an "SRS" or "Airbag" tag on the outer bolster? Those wiring harnesses could be for a side airbag, passenger occupancy and weight sensor, seat belt sensor, etc.
