Cylinder Key Lock Install
I disassembled my steering column. Tilt was very wobbly. Right Blinker plastic clip broke so I had to hold the blinker to keep it active. Found a great new steering wheel so this was a good time.
Upon assembly, I must of installed the Key cylinder wrong. The key now can be released without engaging the steering column lock and the car thinks it is 'on' (radio, fan, etc running without turning the key on. I'm guessing the lock was turned when I inserted the column. To fix this do I just need to reposition the tooth-like gear that holds the key cylinder in place?
Also for some reason my right blinker on the dash is on (solid, not blinking), If I turn the right blinker on, it starts to blink and the blinkers start on the front and rear fenders, turn the blinker off and the nav light for right blinker stays on (solid light).
Any help is appreciated.

This is a new problem, right? Started only after replacing the steering column? If so, I highly suspect the "new" turn signal switch is bad.

And like was mentioned, if all the blinker problems started after your work, then I suspect it's something to do with that. Don't worry, we all have do-overs, it's part of it.
