Front Dash (stack) Panel Upgrade

Decided to splurge a little. Found a 19 Expedition Front Panel on eBay at a good price.

Direct snap in, no programming required. Mine does not have CD. There are both types available.

EDIT: No CD option is available. The years for this panel are 2018-21. I have not confirmed 22.

I was trying to determine the difference between the two images, so I reckon you got the CD now?

If so, that'd be nice, as I haven't bothered to copy all my CD's to memory sticks for my '20 (who has the time these days?). Sure would be nice to have a CD player, for me that is.

Can you post the fleaBay link, or is that verboten?

This has been an upgrade I've been eying for some time now, since first seeing it in a couple other threads. The price and the not knowing true condition of the part until it arrives has me hesitant. It would have to be absolutely flawless, as new, Ebay sellers haven't always been reliable in my experience.
Aside from the upgraded look, having the display off and heated steering wheel hard buttons would be great. I guess the one odd thing about using that would be the "REAR" button that wouldn't do anything in a SD.

I like the display off button on the expedition bezel. This is a solid upgrade all things considered. Even the plastic surrounding the screen makes more sense on the expedition bezel.

I guess the only button that does not function is the "rear" button?

No CD. Here is the link Expedition Front Panel (Not what I paid)

If you look at the lower part of the panel the HVAC controls are different. It also has heated steering wheel hard button and temp settings on the dials.

Yes, I disabled the rear.

Exactly, I think it looks cleaner, maybe not for everyone, but....
Now to find one that fits her 18 F150 !!!!
May have to remove CD to make work.

You made an offer that they accepted? What do you mean by disabled and what happens if bot disabled?

Awesome. It is a super easy swap. (4) screws and R&R the top buttons. Good time to add hill decent (FX4) if you dont have it. lol
You press the button it "turns on" and dash switches to HVAC rear screen.

Opening this back up. How do you turn off or disable the REAR button?

You can disable all the functions with ForScan.
I do have some persistent codes when scanned for some rear climate functions that aren’t there.
sometime I need to dig further to eliminate them.

I do like the longer fan button on the Expy versus trying to finger bang the small *** button on my F350. I installed a full 14" Android screen and radio with every app I can want. And I love it. Pricey at $800 but it came with everything needed including SWC. The only thing I had to do was take out the APIM and relocate it and swap over the snap buttons. Otherwise, it was installed in an hour.
