I am looking to be part of a forum that would have information on all aspects of helping me keep my 2020 F150 XLT running well, and looking good. I do try and work on my own vehicles, but that is becoming more difficult as time goes on. I do like to ask questions of technical nature, and that is probably the most important part of being a part of the right forum. I currently have a 2008 Chevy Malibu, and I have found a GM website that is specific to Chevy Malibu's 2007-2010, and that works well for me. So that's the kind of forum, I am looking for.
I am hoping this forum will meet my needs and wants.................

Welcome to FTE, Mickey

Since these trucks are still fairly new, as have proven to be very reliable, we don't get too many deep dive tear downs or heavy tech threads...yet. The oldest trucks in this forum are 8 years old now, and still there is no one really reporting major issues that require a lot of work. Things that come to mind are oil use issues with 2018/19 5.0s, cam phaser issues with early 2015 EcoBoosts and early 2.7 EcoBoosts, Lots and lots of battery issues, lots of Sync3 issues, some transmission issues but none that point to a bigger problem.

So hang out here, read through some of the threads and get an idea for what's going on with these trucks. Even over on the other site, they don't report as many issues as the GM trucks have. What goes on most over there is talk about mods people do to their trucks, like lifts, exhaust, bolt on performance parts, etc.

Post a pic of your truck and tell us what you have.

Welcome to the group Mickey. I've got a 2020 F150 XLT that is supposed to be my last vehicle. I've learned a lot more than I have contributed, and the members are more than willing to help in the nicest ways.

Best regards,
Ed L.

Welcome to the group. I also have a 2020 F150 XLT. Bought it used, so far so good. I do my own oil changes and do the normal fluid checks etc...
