I want to actually go to the the new super duty and sit in the seat. Back issues, need to make sure it is supportive for me. Where could I travel and do that? I live in north Florida.
The 2022(maybe 2021 as well?) F150s have pretty much the same interior. Calll around to the local dealers and see if they have one they’d let you spend a few minutes with. Until early next year, there will be no ‘23 super duties to sit in
Be careful. It takes time to feel out the seats. I owned 4 F350 lariets starting 2001 and now have the 2019 and I the seats are the worse seats ever. I miss previous seats so much. Small, ridgid ,no depth to the bottom seat design so it's hard as a rock and if your a big guy it will bottom out and break, lumbar sticks into my back so I disconnected inside. It was just a cable across back.
They are not exactly the same. The dash is different in the super duties. The super duty is a single binnacle design. I’m curious to see if that affects sight lines through the windshield.
Yes, I see the similarities. It would make sense that they would share the parts that make up the seats as well.
We have tons of F150s around here. I sat in a new one this morning and found it very supportive. Thanks for the advice everyone!

So is the rear seat the same overall width in both the 150 and Super Duty?

Yeah, seats are one of the more difficult things to feel out, and you almost need to drive the truck for a week or more before you can get a good feel for them.
I've got my '17 Power Wagon, and it is a COMFORTABLE drive - I've made 8 hour road trips and never felt tired or sore when we stopped for gas. I was considering a new truck, so my FIL let me borrow his '22 F250 XLT for about a month...and after getting a little bit of snow and driving it for that long (every day) and adjusting the seat basically every time I sat in it...I gave it back to him. The seat just wasn't comfortable, and I did not like the way it handled in the little bit of wet snow we got (it just seemed very squirrelly, maybe it was the tires he had, not sure, but I've had the same tires on other trucks and they didn't feel that way). There were a LOT of things I liked about the truck, but if Ford can't improve their seats...I may not be buying a new SD in the future.

They changed materials in 2020, My wife has a 2019 and I have a 2020. They look the same but they feel light years different.

Maybe try sitting in a Lariat/KR/or Platinum seat. I had a '21 XLT and now have a '22 Lariat. BIG difference. The XLT seat was not terrible to me. But, the Lariat seat is way different than the XLT. Maybe that's why you pay more for a Lariat/KR/Platinum?????
EDIT: I had a 2012 Laramie Ram 3500 and that seat sucked worse than my XLT.
