IAC valve #
The Ford Motorcraft part number for my 99 XLT with a 5.4 is YL3Z-9F715-AA. $80 at the merciless hands of the dealer on a Friday afternoon. It's run great since the replacement though so it was worth every penny!

Cool. I was trying to start a thread to be archived for Matt, in his EOG update. I figured if we could get part numbers and different places to get them, we could save some hammering at the dealers.

WOW...........i finally replaced my IAC valve just the other day, the Ford dealer wanted $124!!!!!
Forget that, I knew I could get it cheaper, well I did at Napa, for $55!!!!!!!!! HUGE price difference!
It is for my 99 xlt 4.6, don't know if there is a difference between that & the 5.4, but here it is anyway:
Napa part no is: 2- 20260
