Brake Recommendations

Time for pads and rotors on my 2003 FX4 ext. cab short box. Running a little larger 285/70R17 tires so some extra stopping power over stock would be nice. Anyone have experience with the power stop Z36 kits on these trucks? Any brands to really stay away from?

I'm looking to go with the Z23 when mine are do. Seem like good set.

I did all for late summer and purchased from rock auto, got the mid grade ceramic. First time in 20 years that all 4 brakes were replaced at the same time. Great stopping power now.

I went with NAPA premium pads, new calipers and hoses. Brakes seem better than previously.
