Heated Seat Usage
I have found I really like the heated seats in my Premium XLT trim F-250. So here's some questions for you:
1. Do you ever use the heated seat by itself without using cabin heat?
2. Have you ever used the heated seat to relieve back pain or body aches?
3. Have you ever used the heated seat(s) to keep take out food warm?
I have found I like the warmed seat by itself on cool mornings and sometimes never bother with cabin heat. Putting the passenger seat on high and covering food items with a jacket will keep a pizza or Chinese take out warm on the way home. And I left work the other day with a roaring back ache. The extra warm seat brought soothing relief!

I've found that they really fill the need for warmth when the truck is still cold and not warmed up yet. Once the heat starts flowing from the vents and floorboard, I turn the seat heaters off, as they're no longer necessary.

2. yes
3. no but now you have me thinking I may go the other way and use the cooled seat to help keep a six pack cold
all in all this is one of the options I would not pass up on - they are essential as I’m out in the cold/rain all the time, it is just a nice comfort to jump into.

So, not going to do much for keeping a 6-pack cold.
And, the OP's XLT doesn't get the ventilated seats, just heated.

His ‘19 has cooled seats. They use peltier units for cooling and heat. The seat heater isn’t as warm as the electric resistance heaters but I find the cooling to be very nice.

When I was receiving chemotherapy every 2 weeks I also had to take 4 or 5 Neupogen injections on the off week to stimulate white blood cell production. Neupogen causes real bad skeletal pain. They'd load me up with Tramadol to make me comfortable but the heated car and truck seats worked much better for me.
Not heated, but on a hot day when the truck was sitting in the sun and the seats are really hot, I'll cool down the empty passenger seat....it doesn't cost anything, and I figure every little bit helps.
No, but my buddy used to go sit in his old VW Passat beater on the heated seats, because he had a lot of back problems.
Yes, I'll put the heat on passenger seat to keep a pizza or other food warm that I might be taking home.
