My plan for justifying buying this old pig (other than it's the coolest truck design ever) was; I want to use it to pull our seed tender around in the spring.
It will need a brake controller for the trailer brakes.
I just ran across this Tekonsha controller for what appears to be a good price on black friday price.
Looks like what I want, but I'm wondering about hooking it up. Is 1985 new enough to have this style connector under the dash?
We fished harvest last Monday, so we are spending time with distant family for Thanksgiving. I won't be back to the shop for a couple days and would like to order this now.
Anybody know if this pigtail is correct for an '85 C600? Surprisingly, my year and model isn't on the company website for vehicles it fits.
Highly unlikely. You could always just hard wire it into original truck harness.

Got home this afternoon. We're going to role the truck in the shop tomorrow and I'll take a look at the harness. I'm going to order the controller tonight, so at least I'll have that. The harness can be ordered later.
