Hi, I got a problem with the defrost and floor vent were it been broken by where the clip is it and i am trying to find a easier way to replace it without take the dash off to towards it. It on a 1991 ford f150. The vaccum actuator works fine but the clip to the vent is broken.
ya but the clip is connected to the actuator but it not connected to to the vent. I can see the clip right on out but nothing happens to the vent. So what ever connect that yellow/white clip to the vent to move is broken.

OK your terminology is incorrect and it is confusing people. #18 is called a 'door'. I thought you were talking about the piece that goes on the bottom of the airbox and directs air to your feet.

A pic of what you have would sure help a lot.
it almost sounds like he means the connection between the door and the arm of the vacuum actuator , if that year is the same as mine, which means that it would be a matter of jb weld the broken part but hopefully he will show
