Tire chains

Anyone have a lead on "easy-on/off" chains for 38x13.5 tires? Been looking for a while now and just can't seem to find any. Would love to find something like spider spikes, but they just don't make 'em big enough. Thanx in advance.

Do you have a set of smaller tires? Maybe chain those up...... Or buy a set of used tires from a salvage yard or used tire shop. Chain those up instead...
Salvage yards found on "car-parts.com" always have tires from trucks. Yes, they will be smaller but so what. You can buy them used and use as your winter tires. You'd been surprised at the valve within.

Go to a truck supplier, get chains for super single tires. Make them fit yourself. Probably the only way you are going to find them.

I'm a big advocate for running dedicated snow tires anywhere that gets regular snow/ice you. I've had snow tires on there 4th year and nearing the wear bars that had way better traction in snow/ice than any newer All Season/Summer tire I've ever run. Part of me even thinks maybe it should be law anywhere that gets a certain amount of snow regularly.

You could see if there's a tire shop around you that does siping and have your tires siped and studded. IDK if studs are acceptable in areas that require chains?
