I was at the jy working on getting to a set of gt40 heads. The right rear lower intake manifold bolt head is stripped. No bad, but enough to keep the socket from doing the job. The jy does not allow torches. Any ideas on how to get it out? The clearances are tight and I don’t want to damage the manifold.
Not sure if you have a stud bolt in that spot, you can try to find one of these, tap it on, it may not be deep enough for a 3/8 extension.
If not, try a smaller size socket, tap it on the head. Chances are you will break the bolt.
