Is there a specific part number for the rubber insulator hose that covers the A/C line running across (it has the smaller white wire attached to it).

On the cowl seal it looks the same as used on the 80's trucks.
We use something a lot cheaper and can get at the local big box hardware store.
It is called a garage door bottom seal and if you buy it for a 2 car door you can make 2 of them
Pull the nails out of the plastic washers and use them and the factory screws to hold it in place.
When in the same store, hit the plumbing dept. and pick up some foam pipe insulation.
I dont know if it comes split or not but if not use a knife to split it to install.
You can use black duct tape to seal the split and turn it to the back so not seen.
I would think for that $38 + s/h you can get all of the above and a candy bar on the way out

his doesnt extend all the way which means the computer and the HVAC case now haave a water ingress concern that is high up the firrewall where most of the openings exist

its in good shape? nice. if you do, a simple clear sealant would be wise, use one thats okay with temperature variation
