1975 F250 4x4 360 FE with C6 and 203 transfer case that was made part time by the dealer back in 1975 via the addition of the WARN 198B hub kit.
Does anyone have a WARN 198B locking hub available for sale in their spare parts bins?
I ended up damaging one of mine during my most recent maintenance and the hub no longer twists.
Have confirmed its a bad hub versus axle related as the hub itself will not turn in my hand- unattached from the axle.
I realize these are pretty simple designs- but it appears as though the threaded brass center has "skipped" a thread and has bound itself up.
Sorry I am pretty sure I do not have ONE of those, it might be time to get a new matching set. Have you ever seen a "hub turd"? It is a home made lock in/out tool. Made out of silica beads that you get off Amazon that you heat up and mold into what ever you need. Craziest thing I ever seen. You can think a Ranger for the idea. Lol
Well I do not have a SET of those that you have now...but I do have some others. A metal set of M&M +one spare. And I believe a plastic (or black metal) set of M&M. And some Warn and OEM spicer (?). And a sport steering wheel from a Pinto wagon. Lol Do we need to talk more? https://shop.broncograveyard.com/D44...xoCsJQQAvD_BwE
I'm not going to say what everyone else is already thinking

What do you mean? I knew posting that pics would bring out all the folks with a "great sense of humor". I know I know I KNOW I DID NOT MAKE IT OR NAME IT. The name Nina Hartley came up in a conversation about it one time. And we changed the subject right after that.
I ended up picking up a NOS set of 198B hubs from Ebay versus getting a more "modern" set of Warn 20990.
I think they may be the same actually except for the shiny versus the black finish
Will look into what's binding up one side of the old set.
Thanks
