How correct you are! I'm guessing the same is true for newspapers, and even local news! I would rather try to see what is "going on". Often, very often I find, certain "news" outlets are not telling the entire story, and often presenting "facts" that turn out to be lies! You may want to spend a little time looking at various news sources stories, over the last few years-you may have an epiphany! Something along the lines of, "Damn, that turned out to be 100% BS", or something similar. One of the most important things any citizen can do for their country is to stay informed, this allows them to cast their vote in an informed manner. Hope this helps.

I agree 100% with your ideas there BUT it goes both ways----so much of what's presented on the internet is NOT "news" rather its an ad hoc presentation and perversion of events to reflect a POV that is NOT factual, simply slanted to support of "prove" something that's not as dire or beneficial as some will be lead to believe.

The rise of BS is equally represented by many entities and I further one needs to keep on top of what IS real and what is NOT REAL. In over 20+ years being onile I've NEVER seen ANYONE slinging a single POV about anything that's proved to be 100% or even close to being true. Pick a side, pick a POV---its all tainted by something wrong or less than accurate.

I believe you are close to presenting what has been/ is happening; however, I feel it is necessary, to point out. Some of the really big outlets, have presented "facts" that have turned out to be 100% manufactured BS, I will not point any of these out, as it may be considered political, and not just good examples of BS being presented as fact(s). The most troubling part of the equation is the number of "useful idiots" that continue to believe the BS long after it has been proven to be BS. One example, those that cling to the belief that the moon landings were fake, and those that believe the earth is flat (yes, the flat earth society is real). If America remains a free country year from now, there will be a new generation wondering how could so many people be so gullible? They [future gens] will categorize many of these "I like to believe BS" types in the same set as the flat earth people.

^^^Doom and gloom "predictions" or speculation what's to become of the USA is just more of the BS pushed by so many--again it goes BOTH WAYS! All "new generations" of people tend to look back and ponder "WTF were they thinking way back then?"

Times and perspectives change and yes I personally believe the USA will NOT disintegrate into a dire prediction as is currently pushed by "useful idiots" all across the spectrum.

Both ways I say!

I guess it depends on what you think would constitute "disintegration". Some may point to schools and the test scores, especially when comparing low cost private to public. Some may point to drug use, concentrating on total deaths caused by drug use. Some may look at the state of our Borders. Some may look at the state of our Federal Law Enforcement-what they do and don't do and is there equal application of the law-or at least an attempt. The Generation following WWII, did not look back at their father's Generation and say, "WTF were they thinking...", and those with an education still don't, in fact many have dubbed them "the greatest Generation". But yes, you are correct, there are many useful idiots all across the spectrum. One thing that gives them away, is debating Facts-they hide, or call you names, etc. As so very often, the facts are inconvenient. One other thing that really defines the useful idiots, is when they are wrong (usually big time) they don't know how to man-up, they never admit they were wrong or change their minds. When you say "Both ways" I have little doubt as to what you mean.
