Sure they can be found. There’s a thread here where Granger is offering $1500 over invoice, which is under MSRP. I’m sure there are others. But before you agree make sure to get the final price in writing and make sure they will price protect from the original agreement. Then make sure they get a copy of your drivers license and submit it along with the signed buyers agreement into the COVP so Ford will accept it. Also, while some dealers don’t require a down payment, it’s suggested to do so anyway. This binds the agreement even more and should help defend your original price if anything happens.
Granger has a pretty large list of people and they are only estimating 150 allocations. I think their list is probably closing in on double that. So they likely arent an option at this point.
That’s not 100% accurate. My 2022 order was and I had a friend’s who was. Mine went through one price increase while his went through three.
I wasn’t referring to the 22… fiasco… As far as I understand it, they have already stated that the 23 prices will be based on when the truck is built, not when the order is placed. So whether or not it’s a good deal will depend on when the truck actually gets built and whether or not Ford decides to bump prices…
It’s wherever their 1% offer is stated…. So in one of the hundreds of threads already started here! Lol. But it shouldn’t be a surprise though as it’s the same thing that they changed to midway through the 22 orders. At least they stated this from the get-go this time though.
I found this in the Granger thread going where someone quoted Chapman’s fine print:
*Our pricing program under invoice will not be combined with any manufacturer price protection programs…the POC/DORA may not be the final invoice price & only an estimate based on the current pricing guide from Ford/Stellantis…Ford/Stellantis occasionally has price increases during the course of production…once the vehicle lands on the ground, we will provide you a copy of the invoice from Ford/Stellantis & will honor our % under invoice in this email thread.*
For the last two years people have been pretty happy to only pay MSRP. It is the new bargain, do not let the stigma of paying it bother you. Now you mainly have to steer clear of the dealers marking up. Demand is way exceeding supply still so you are going to have to look pretty hard for a deal. Good Luck
But they won’t price protect… which if Ford has price bumps for the 23’s like they did for the 22’s, that could be pretty significant price increase.
I ordered Nov 21, right before the first price bump in Dec. Received my F350 May 22 from Chapman. I received price protection. Price was what I ordered. Right or wrong, I think whether one might have received price protection or not might have had something to do with ones attitude, whether it was a demand or an ask. This year they are stating price will be from final invoice. That price of 1 percent under invoice will still be under MSRP or X plan. SO I'm not complaining or worrying about the 2023 F350 dually I have ordered with them. IF the price goes up it goes up everywhere. I also think Ford will have already priced in what they see for the upcoming year better than last year. Yeah, the weight police got to me. LOL
Best bet is to find a place that will accept x-plan and sign up for the Mustang club
Totally agree with Ry Guy. Due to supply/demand issues, you would be best to find someone who accepts X-Plan. I just ordered my 2023 F450 from Price Ford (Price, Utah). I highly recommend these guys.

That's good to hear that they honored an agreement that you originally made with them, but since the 22's keep getting brought up, I think it's only fair to also mention that there were customers that they didn't honor that original agreement with... and I do agree, the way one went about handling it may have been instrumental in that decision, but more importantly, lets not forget that had the business not tried to back peddle on those original agreements in the first place that none of those conversations wouldn't have even needed to take place to begin with... which to me speaks more about the company's dishonesty than the people buying trucks from them... And if you are wondering, nope, I (thankfully) did not order from them, and after watching it go down here on FTE, as well as other forums, I wouldn't ever consider it in the future.
As far as the 23MY goes, it does look like Chapmans has offered the "best deal" on Super Duties so far... but again, that depends on Ford and when an order actually gets built. No one expected the price increases on the 22's, but they happened... to the tune of several thousand dollars more. At least Chapman put it up front that they will not be price protecting this time, but it's a gamble... you may come out good, or you may end up paying more than what you could have with another dealer that will price protect (and stick to it).
Saying all of that, I agree that finding a dealer that will do X Plan is the best deal of all.
