Question: Who is "BTW Transmission Rebuilder"?

I am being quoted almost $8,000 for a trans rebuild.
I almost had a heart attack.
Started researching, ran into this:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ild-costs.html
I found who Woods and Racer-X are, but no amount of Googling is turning up anything about BTW Transmissions.
Who are they, and do they have a website?

The mechanic where my Excursion is has been a good mechanic, though lately seems a bit expensive.
He said he will pull the trans and send it to a local rebuilder he has had good success with.
He said they do make it stronger than stock and give a 3 year / 100k mile guarantee.
I don't know what they do or how much they bulletproof the transmission, and whether it includes
a torque convertor and valve body (or trans cooler replacement).

My wife got the quote from the mechanic, and I have not had an opportunity to ask him why the
cost is so high and what is included.

At the cost point he is charging, maybe I can arrange to have him put in a rebuild from BTW, Woods, or Racer-X.
I'm just weighing options.
At this point I'm over a barrel because the truck is in his shop, he's always done alright in the past,
and I currently have no place to work on vehicles, and all of my tools are in storage.

So, who is BTW?

Never heard of a BTW trans shop, but maybe the quoted post meant to mention BTS https://www.brianstruckshop.com a trans shop with a pretty solid reputation.

Thanks!
BTS says they would even install it for free (on their website).
Makes me wish I was in Arkansas.
We lived in Alabama for a few years... that might have been in towing distance, but Seattle is quite a ways out.

I'm going to have to ask the shop owner what the $8,000 includes, what parts are used, and does the warranty
include his time to replace the trans if it fails. If not, then I'll see if he would be open to ordering from one
of the shops other forum users recommend here.

If I didn't love my Excursion I would sell it for whatever I could get, but it's been a pretty good truck for about 248,000 miles.
It's still a painful blow.

For less than $8000 you could order a Sam Wyse stage 1 and either install it yourself or have a shop install it.
