Hey there,
I just got my dads 91 F150 and am having some troubles with that i hope you can help me out with. We just recently had the engine rebuilt and they worked on an electrical problem in it and so the engine only has 200 miles on it but the truck has a total of 191000 miles on it. Ok well to the point i have a few questions that i need help on.
The beeping sound that goes on when the door is opened or the lights are on keeps beeping the whole time i am drivig it. My seltbelt is on and the door is closed but it is very faint but still i can hear it. What could that be?
Next one the light that is in the cab keeps blinking on and off when i am driving. It is a big distraction when i am trying to drive at night so i just turn it on so it will stop but it usually comes on whenever i hit a bump or something. How can i stop that from blinking?
My horn on the truck does not work as well. I would push on the horn and it would make this clicking sound that sounded like it was coming from the glove compartment. I read somewhere that there is an on and off switch but i do not know where to look for it.

The interior light and the buzzer both: Sounds like one of the door switches might be bad/corroded. Look in near the hinges, there should be a push switch in there. Try replacing.
The horn button works a relay. That's why you hear clicking. Either the relay's bad and/or the horn is bad, or the wiring between. The first thing I'd check is the plug on the horn itself, probably corroded. Try running power directly to the horn with some test leads to confirm it works, and try a voltmeter on the plug for it while someone holds the horn button in.

welcome lexi05, is u'r truck a 351w v8? if yes then you got a good ol truck ,just like mine, only as they get older stuff starts being a pain.
