powerstroke air compressor
I have a 2001 superduty with a 7.3 diesel. I'm interested in installing an engine driven air compressor. I was wondering if anyone has done such a thing. I was thinking about a compressor from a school bus since the "stroke" is just a hopped up bus engine but I think that they are gear driven not belt drive.
Could it possibly be mounted in place of the optional second alternator? any info would be appreciated.
