Hi, I have 2020 F-250...6.7 with around 60,000 miles..lately the trans seems to be shifting hard at times and not sure but feels like its slipping, but other wise once up to speed seems fine...If the trans is going bad should I get a code ? I ask the dealer the other day and told me its normal, but I don't think so !
So I could have something going on besides the electronics parts ?
Well, if it really is slipping, then that could be clutches.
I'd say check fluid level, color and condition, but that is no easy task with no dipstick.

No, not necessarily going to throw a code.
No, that's not normal.
Exactly what Senix said. Take it in and tell them to cold test it the next day.
And expect that you are going to have to sort of be a jerk about it with the dealer.
In my experience, unfortunately you have to be the squeekiest wheel if you expect to get any grease these days. The world is run by people making minimum wage, and if they are making above minimum wage, they're probably overpaid for what they actually do.
My 2020 F250 started to do that at around 40k miles. No codes. Problem is worse when cold. I took it to one dealer who wasn’t able to fix it. I didn’t want to give them another chance due to their extreme incompetence. Took it to another dealer with a commercial truck service department. They were skeptical at first when I told them about the problem (they were really wanting to say they all do that). After leaving it with them they said yep, that’s a problem. Unfortunately that was about a month ago and they haven’t been able to do any additional work claiming the supply chain issues affecting part availability.

I wonder what would happen if you mailed Ford a note that said "Due to supply chain issues affecting cash availability I will not be able to make my truck payment this month."
I had a similar issue... Missing shifts to where it felt like it was in neutral, unresponsive throttle in 10th, hard shifts, bucking when going from R to D. It's currently in the shop now having ~$5k (haven't gotten total yet) worth of work done to the trans. They are saying there is a bushing in there that has been known to shift out of position, causing a blockage of fluid or something, which fried some solenoids as well. I don't have a complete list of what all they're doing yet. They've had my truck for 3 weeks now, waiting on parts to finish. I just bought the truck and have only put 1000 or so miles on it. 2020 w/ 92k miles. No warranty.

Ford wouldn't give a crap about whether you paid the payment or not, they already got their money.
Now, the finance company would just come and repo the truck and sell it, then sue you for whatever deficit was left.
Missing shifts to where it felt like it was in neutral, unresponsive throttle in 10th...that is exactly what mine is doing... I have a boat I must pull in two weeks, after that its going to the dealer, I have the extended warranty, not sure but I think the drive train is 100,000 anyway butt not sure.

Thanks for all the reply's !
Well, drivetrain warranty is 60K unfortunately.
Good that you have the extended warranty.
What I’m typically seeing right now is the bushing slipping out of place in the cdf drum internal to the trans. It may partially/fully block the fluid ports causing all kinds of chaos. On a select few I’ve seen planetary #4 explode. This 10spd is a true pile of crap. Traded in my 19 diesel for a 22 with a 6.2 worst decision ever. 3k miles have harsh drive or reverse engagements and it’s the clunkiest thing I’ve ever heard especially taking off from a stop lol.
