Warn Winch on 2023 orders...

Does anyone know the model of Warn winch that Ford uses for this, or specs? Other than changing the grill guard/mount cost, is it a decent price?

The 2022s was based on the RC 9.0 (the small frame competition rock crawling winch). It likely has a different motor with more power. It only holds 50 feet of rope and I believe is not available directly from warn.

So, it's too small, not enough cable, and not available on the aftermarket if I need to replace it.

Check.

Thanks. I'd think 12K lbs and 50-70' would be plenty for me.

if it has 70ft line and 12k lbs rating what do they need to do to please Mr. bananas?

It fits neatly behind factory bumper which is really cool for a lot of folks. So to me it’s a great option.

Not everybody wants a goofy *** bumper and massive winch that stick 3ft out from the front of the truck.

And as I learned long ago, some people will complain about just about everything. They’ll only see the negative side of any situation.
