Injector filters
Injector filters
so I bought the walker fuel injector rebuild kit.https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=11222&jsn=827
It came with a bunch of gaskets and seals/orings to repair the injectors. What I didn't know is that it does not come with the filters for each injector!
I feel like I know the answer is to find the kit and replace the injector filters. However can they not be reused? I plan to soak the injectors and blow them out with compressed air. Following this https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...to-thread.html
The injector filter kit is cheap and I can buy it. It just means more money and more time waiting... Living remote means waiting for the part to arrive in the mail. So If I can avoid paying 30 bucks for shipping I will try. 30 bucks for shipping and 20 dollars for the parts..................

If I were in your situation, I'd clean the injectors carefully, without puling the filters.
You can use an old tire valve to pop on an intector, and use spray clean to 'inject' while connected to a 9v battery.
Spray in the correct direction, you can visually inspect the spray pattern to know if the injector is good/bad.
Getting those filters is probably last resort, save your shipping money for more cleaner.
