Core Plug Heaters....how do these disconnect? Just give a good pull? Even though it's already beat on, I don't want to break it more by rough handling. The truck shipped with this option, and given the looks of it, I'd say it's original to the factory if that makes a difference.
Those were ordered original for my 79 bronco ranger xlt here in Southern California which I thought was weird they were leaking so I tried to remove them and want too easy had to uses a punch and sone pliers pretty much mangled em to get out. Replaced with freeze plugs. The element is about two inches into the block and needs a good twist to get out from what I remember
