I know everyone says Gator backs are the best but are there any other options out there that don't just screw on using the factory trim screws? Like the reinforcing brackets that come with the gator back kits. just wondering what else exists.

Backing up in heavy brush off-road, and I have ripped the mudflaps off my 1993 dually.

However when I did take it in to get inspected, the mechanic took it upon himself to use tin snips to carve out mudflaps from the rubber hoof mat of an abandoned horse trailer in his lot and screw it into the truck with huge screws and fender washers to make it DOT legal.
