dually question

Can anyone tell me if the XLT dually's had the same boldly molding as the single wheels? Thinking about converting my 83 to a dually and I was wondering if they had trim on the fenders. Does anyone have any pictures?

Thanks Andy

I do not know for certain, But I am going to say NO. Just for the fact that the trim is held on with clips that snap on to metal studs that were welded to the sheet metal. the fenders are fiberglass and have no way of attaching the clips

Back in the 80's, a dually was considered a "work/farm" truck, so the XLT trim was left off the outside on the very few dually's that were ordered with "all the bells and whistles"....... Even carpet was somewhat rare in them.
