P02E1 error code question.

P02E1 error code question.
I got a CEL, checked the code and it's P02E1. Which is 'Diesel intake airflow control performance.' Looking it up online it is either the MAF sensor or the throttle body.
Has anyone had this code and is there way to narrow it down? We have Forscan on our laptop. Haven't used it yet. Is there a way with Forscan to narrow down which is more like the problem. Of course, these issues never happen when it's convenient .
