He bought it in 2015. He maintains about 70 yards and he lives down an old dirt road. He has big heavy mowers that have over time bowed the 5k rated gate. I'll have to post pics of that. But he uses it Alot. Probably at least 150-200k miles. Over the full course if it's life, maybe more. But these are just estimates. He told me 100k miles. His dad who also works with him said at least 200k. So I'm not sure, but he has had it along time and used it almost everyday throughout summer and then every couple weeks he would use it for a week in the winter maintaining all of his yards.
With that type of wear its a good idea to inspect the frame with a fine tooth comb, specifically where the tongue ties into the main frame. Might have some cracks depending on how it was loaded over the years.
Only thing you ever put in it was lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, lawn equipment. But he did have at least 260-in mowers and another 42 or 48 inch mower at any given point. He was telling me the full weight of the trailer was probably around 8-9k with all of his lawn equipment in it.
That being said it wasn't loaded super heavy most of the time but, I have inspected the frame a little bit, but it's so hard to get underneath these trailers cuz they're so low to the ground. It's not near as bad now that I fix the suspension though
Forged handles out of hard steel tube. Heavy stuff. Had to get it red hot to beat it good and flat. Also build a chainsaw rack, holds around 4 saws. Few books to hang stuff with and all new running lights and brake light all around. New chains and wiring harness to junction box. I'll post a video in a little while but for now here's some pictures. New roof vent is already ordered.
