First thing I did was remove it; just pull and there is a button on top to push

I didn't watch the video, but you've got to squeeze your fingers in between the headrest and the seat back, and there's two buttons that either have to be pushed or pulled - it's been 2 years since I did this and I don't recall which it was. I think it was push because there's no tab to pull on. The headrest comes right out and you can throw it away.

got rid of mine first thing. And turned the driver seat one backwards so it does not feel like you are looking down and no more inteference with hats.

I sometimes look in the rearview mirror and think someone in a little gray car is tailgating me. No one is there. It's the center rear seat headrest sticking up. I might pull that one out.

Same here. Put it in a box and on garage shelf.

I had removed that one for a while but put it back when putting the 4Knines hammock in the back for the dogs. I kept the small seat down for my daughter to sit in so had to use the center head rest to help hold the hammock up. I never got around to taking it back out though… even though I see it every time I look in the rear view mirror. LOL
