Auto mirror fold not working

Just got my 2022 F350 a couple weeks ago. Tried to enable auto mirror fold under the dash advanced settings, but the checkbox will not check.

I went through FORSCAN plain English mode and enabled auto mirror fold in the following modules: IPC, DDM, PDM, and APIM. No luck.

went through FORSCAN as built DDM and PDM modules using the spreadsheet from the forum to enable the auto fold mirror. Still no luck.

Also, the dash screen still won’t let me check the auto mirror fold as an option.

Any ideas?

Missing the chip that makes the auto fold work...

Is there a separate module just for the autofold? May have to call the dealer.

I remember that on the day I purchased my 22 Lariat I went through all the menu options and it would not allow me to select auto fold. About a week later I was playing through the menu again and it let me turn them on! Could never figure out why.

Well Vitacura, that appears to be my case. Maybe it just needed to be driven after the changes were made in forscan. Works now.

Seems to me there some combination like being in accessory in park with the brale pushed because you know how dangerous it is to turn on auto fold on the mirrors.

When I took delivery the sales guy walked me through all the menus to help me set up the truck the way I wanted it. In the back of my mind it seems we had to set the parking brake to get it all to work.

For what ever reason.
