RV GPS in sync 3.4
Did some searching and just wondering. 2015 F350, upgraded to sync 3.4. When I plug in my Apple iPhone, I get the Waze screen on the truck nav screen with all the functions of Waze. Anyone tried plugging in a Rand McNally RV dedicated GPS to the truck? Do you get the same limitations (route, height, etc) that you set in the RMN GPS on your truck screen? Just trying to reduce the dash clutter.

Your device needs to have carplay or android auto for the device to "mirror" to the Ford screen. there is an app called RV life that I use on my phone, and it gives you dedicated RV Functions; RV Life also works on car play so you can use it on the truck screen. The app costs money per year, but it routes you based on height, weight, and length is worth it to me. This was also one of the reasons I upgraded from sync 2 to sync 3 in my 2015 too-
