I do a lot of IT work with dairies & your pickup is in better shape than most of the newer trucks I see at them.

Just ordered 9790s last night.

This build won't be pretty. I bought it to use it as a truck. So there won't be many bells and whistles. It came with a "rebuilt" 223 and new clutch & pressure plate but it was missing hoses belts and radiator. So that was 1st priority. Now that that's all fixed I see someone has cut ALL the brake lines so I suppose brakes come next.

Are the Front brake drums readily available? I see them for 2 wheel drives but haven't located any for 4 X 4s.

I purchase the disc brake setup I have from a reputable guy on eBay they worked out perfect.
I will see if I can find a link to him. Others May chime in there may be more options.

I'd appreciate the info, Not opposed to converting to disc brakes. What master cylinder are you using?

I was able to source all the stock brake hardware for mine through my local NAPA. Rockauto might also have it.

Its good to see another 4x4 saved! I got all my parts for mine at NAPA. Stay away from as much Chineesium as possible (this means you likely pay more but the probability the parts are better increases)

Yeap, the brackets are what's holding the bed up. So I guess I'll be drilling out the rivets and removing the brackets.
