68 Battery hold down bracket

Can anybody help me with a picture of a stock battery bracket for a 68 F-100. Mine is now held in place (sort of) with a bungee cord. Looks like Sh&* and is def not very safe. Thanks

Assuming it looks like a 72.

I think my '68 looks a little different than the '72, but close. I will try to get a picture up in the next day or two.

I hope that new Autolite keeps the acid inside better than the old ones did.

So when does the rest of the truck get detailed to match the battery/cables/holddown ?

Sorry for the late response, my camera was on the fritz and just got it fixed. Here's some pics on my '68 F250, I think it's original 'cause it looks identical to the illustration in the '68 owner's manual.





Course it's not as clean as DuckRyder's, needs a little maintenance.

My 72 had the same plastic coated metal one as your 68 BB. Duckriders looks like a newer one to me.

HMMM,

Mine was sold to me as the correct one for a 72.

I does look identical to some nerer ford stuff I've seen.
