Thumbs up problem solved

Hey Rockledge,
Thank you for the tip! I changed the Cannister Purge Solenoid / Flow Sensor, reset the "check engine light" and the warning light has remained off for over 100 miles. Hoo-ray!

One other question please. I need to replace the dimmer switch on the same vehicle, 95 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L 5-speed. The manual says I need to take half the dashboard apart to get at the switch. It looks like if I take out the fuse box, which is in the dash just to the left of the switch then I will have easy access to the switch. Any recommendations?

Have to remove the dashboard. Will be easier that way, trust me.

Glad to hear it's working out for you ...chalk one up to the whole gang for that one, since I only learned more about it myself by hanging around FTE. Just passing along the info...
