I have a 91 Explorer v-6 auto, and am losing much trans fluid. I am finding that the inside of some of my vacuum hoses have trans fluid in them. Any ideas on a fix or where to start? Thanks in advance!!! I appreciate the help!
The vacumn modulator is on the passenger side of the transmission. It is a little difficult to reach but if you lower the transmission crossmember and work with the catalitic convertor cool you can get to it. There is one bolt just above the modulator (10mm head). Be careful not to loose the pin in the modulator, it needs to go back in the new modulator.
