Need help 1988 F800 decoding
the vin is 1FDXF82K9JVA46601
F82330GK8
Trans CY
Axle X80
Thank you
X = Class 7--26,001 - 33,000 lbs GVWR, air brakes
F82 = F800 gas
K = 429 4V "Lima" gas V8
9 = Ford check digit, ignore
J = 1988 model year
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
A46601 = serial number
2K = Candyapple Red
154 = 154 inch wheelbase
F82330GK8-- This is all strung together and might be (EDIT clarified decode below)
F823 = F800 gas, 25,500 lbs GVWR. This conflicts with what's on the tag and the vehicle class in the VIN.
330 = points to 33,000 lbs GVWR
30 = 30 I think a typo. Usually these are 3 digits, so wither "F823" is wrong or "30" is wrong.
GK8 = Possibly body & interior code. EDIT : it is the body and interior code but I do not have that info
CY = Eaton/Clark model FS-5005A five speed direct transmission. (see below)
X8O
X8 = Rockwell model RS-23-240 two speed rear axle, 23,000 lbs capacity, 6.50 / 8.86 ratios
O = Ford 9,500 lb capacity front axle with power steering
87 = Body Company. (sometimes you see this for U-haul trucks, maybe fire trucks)
Not a special order, so the axle/GVWR and model/GVWR confusion is probably due to typo's.
Transmission ratios:

Your GVWR is 33,000 but your axles only total 32,500. It is rare to see this and IMO is an error. (EDIT and not cleared up by the certification label.)
If you have a picture of that sticker with all the numbers I might be able to figure out a couple more things.(EDIT well some but not all....)
