As mentioned many times on this forum, even an MSRP quote from a dealer is not the whole story. Get the "out the door" price, in writing. A dealer may advertise MSRP and then add a bunch of non-negotiable items that add several hundred to a few thousand to the cost of the truck. They may price the truck at MSRP but the add ons, including any dealer fees, are separate items.
Wow how the market has changed. If ordering a truck, the rule was always invoice or less. I guess things have gotten worse than I thought. It is where I will start when I order my truck.
I just went looking again. If you are on the east coast Chapman Ford Horsham (NJ) is still advertising 1% Under invoice on 2023 orders on their website
I do not work for them, I have not ordered from them. I know others have. They are on my list of places I was/am going to include when I am shopping who I will purchase my truck from.

Isn't Chapman the place that on MY22 orders the "Invoice" price floated until the delivery and they sent out emails to everyone saying "Invoice" was from time of delivery not time of order? I had a $4800 price protection check so if my invoice price increased by $4800 is that basically like paying original MSRP to begin with?
I am not sure on that, I did see something about pricing with them, but I did not follow it as I was not in a position to purchase at the time. I know Grainger made a post yesterday saying they will do $1500 over invoice, that is way better than 5k over sticker. Granger is a long time supporter here and has a great reputation from what I have seen. They too are on my list when I decide to bite the bullet.
I paid less than the invoice price for my '21. NO reason to pay over invoice, even in this market.
Even Granger Ford is over invoice on their 23's, so I imagine there may be some that are at or under invoice, but very very few and far between. Then if they are at invoice the next issue comes to allocation, they're going to have hundreds, if not thousands of people ordering from them because they are the cheapest price.
