Isn't it so when you unlock without actually opening the door, it will re lock after a set period of time if the door has not been opened? I considered making that change with Forscan but never did.
That feature is standard on many cars. I have 2 import brand vehicles pushing 20 years old that do it.

I’ll have to try unlocking the door and not opening it and see if it will lock.
I thought it what it did was lock itself if it was unlocked, regardless after a period of time (either 30 or 45 seconds based on the Forscan spreadsheet).

That would be extremely annoying if it locked after 30 or 45 seconds regardless of whether the door has been opened or not. The Forscan change should just make it like my Toyota, relocks 30 seconds after the door was unlocked if the door hasn't been opened.

As I mentioned earlier I have it on 2 other vehicles I own, it has never bothered be or been an inconvenience in any way. I haven't enabled it in the Super Duty just because I haven't felt much of a need. I am curious what it is that you don't like and makes it a PIA for you?

If you shut the truck off and walk away without locking the doors they will remain unlocked until you lock them via whatever method you choose.
