6.7L Catastrophic Engine Failure
My buddy has 16k mi on his 2020. Spun a bearing. Under warranty. Less than a month to get the engine shipped. I thought it would be a lot longer.

Is the truck at a Ford dealership or someone's shop?

If the mechanic loves his job and takes pride in doing a good job it will probably be better then a factory worker working with a hangover and 8 and the gate mindset.

FYI, the mechanic told me they get 26 hrs to replace a 6.7. 5 to remove and replace the cab.

Considering the labor hours and engine replacement costs, looks like a really good way to spend $20K!

Being a warranty repair that is probably a reduced time compared to if it was customer pay. Big job.

One of my cousins is a mechanic in a Ford shop. Spun bearings are one of the few things he has mentioned to me as 6.7 issues. Not sure there is much the user can do other than using proper oil viscosity for the conditions and making sure it's warmed up before running it hard.
