Front Brake Pads
i'd just get a good quality solid or slotted rotor and whatever pads.
things I've noticed...aftermarket pads wear faster, have more dust, and do not work as well when cold until they warm up. In my experience there is not noticeable gains in stopping, but I haven't done any scientific testing. many have had great luck with OEM pads on good rotors as well as good pads/ rotors from Napa.
all performance pads will have more dust, some are just better at hiding it because the dust is not black like typical, but they will dust.
while a slotted rotor will wear the pads slightly faster it comes with a benefit of creating a good clean fresh flat surface and not allow any bad buildup to occur. At least thats the theory behind it. I know solid rotors do great as well and i don't recall ever having an issue with them. I don't recommend drilled rotors because they will eventually stress crack but I think the dimpled ones are fine.
I just recently replaced my centrics. they still worked fine but had an occasional squeak that I didn't like. they were drilled/ slotted. when I pulled them off, I thought the pads were more worn than they actually were. turns out they probably still had around half life left, oh well...I have them boxed up and can finish them out on another truck or something.
Just thought i would share my 2 cents but hope you get what you need out of whatever you decide to go with. I just don't think the popular hawk or z36 pads are all they are cracked up to be. whenever the time comes, I'll try EBC next
