Engine will not start

So I rebuild my engine block and with all new parts I had the beast running about 10 months ago and so I thought I had it but now the starter was overheating the wire starting the thing and I can see the spark I just rebuilt the carburetor and I pulled the idle screws out to one full turn when it used to be 7/8 of a turn out every cylinder holds pressure and I tightened down the spark plugs so I can’t hear that his that was happening when I first installed them as they are only a month old I know when I rebuilt the engine I wrote the firing order on the hood so that can’t be wrong and even with starting fluid it’s not firing over what am I missing

Welcome to FTE.

I got to say that was hard to read as it is one large run on mess
What is going on or not going on?
Title says "Engine will not start"
Then you have a pole going of new dist or wiring?

We need a little more information on the truck.
Year? Model? motor size and transmission dose it have?
Think I seen something about a over heating starter? What makes you say that?
Where was this spark at? the rebuilt carb?

so I answered the questions below but the engine does not seam to want to start it will turn when the starter selenoid is activated and the fuel pressure looks good around 4psi and comes out of the hose conecting to the carb I feel like there is a peice I am missing but can’t figure out what it is and sorry for the survey I thought I left it open for answers for you to fill in and it asked for at least two answers so I made up some bs because I am stumped

Think I seen something about a over heating starter? What makes you say that? Well the wires started melting when I would hit the button to the selenoid and the battery terminal as well as the selenoid would be way to hot to touch
Where was this spark at? the rebuilt carb?the spark was out of the spark plug and I did rebuild the carburetor but even spraying starter fluid in the carb to to try and start the engine would not make it start

So it ran before. It then sat 10 months and you did nothing to it but try to start it after 10 months?

A lot of stuff to go wrong there.

How did you check TDC? Exact procedure you used.

P.S. What are you working on? What year, what model, what engine, what transmission?
