Ordered. I will let you all know what I receive if complete and how they look
As soon as the vinyl sample arrives, if it’s a close enough match, I’m also ordering a set. I spoke to both John at Auto Obsession’s, and to someone at Distinctive Industries and still forgot to ask - do the pockets include the trim rings? I’d think so.
Don't hate me for it, but I recently scored a pair of original door pockets in off-white, probably white, brass zippers, and trim rings that someone painted to damn near match my truck, for $50. Interestingly it looks like they made one model for both sides because when closed the zip pull is in the front and driver's side and at the rear on the passenger side. Is that correct or did the PO of the truck they came from have two lefts in it?
If I scored a set of those, for that price, I would have bought lottery tickets with some of the savings.
$50 was the only way I could afford them that day, none leftover for lottery tickets. However I did score a cool glove box insert, like a tray that slides into the glovebox so you can find something without spilling the whole mess on the floor. Homemade, $20
If I were in the market for them then I would look into this. My take is one pocket per $125 and the surround trim not included which is just as tough to find at the pockets. However, I'm not as I found an original set of green back in 2008 and then a year later a set in white. My truck is Holly Green but the top panels being white made the white pocket a better match.
I just received the so-called Turquoise vinyl sample from Distinctive Industries, manufacturers of the door pockets that Drake sells. It’s not even close to the correct Caribbean Turquoise color I need. It’s a metallic turquoise, and I’m not having it. I’ll just stick with the white they offer, it should be close enough to the white upper panels.

Nice Score! FYI The Bob Drake black ones I bought are symmetrical opposites so I have my zippers both in the front... Of course that is probably not as Ford had them.

99.9 percent of people would not know that. They would think that is cool. My dad would just fill it up with beer and ice and go road hunting.
