Hello FTEers.
Welcome to October & happy birthday to any October babes out there.
Well, now that its getting cooler out, time to break out the winter clothes & electric blankets. Lol
The house isnt quite ready yet to move into, but hopefully the leaky roof/ceiling where the swamp cooler is leaking will be fixed soon. We definitely have to get the Leaky Roof/ ceiling fixed before we can move in... the other stuff can wait in reality.
Its a work in progress, but it wont be much longer (hopefully) once we get some more FlexSeal, Silicone/Caulk, more drywall sheets/tape, etc.
Doing a little bit with each paycheck.
Our main concern at the moment is the hallway & 1/2 bdrm ceiling area where its still leaking. Nothing else in the house is leaking anymore but we just have to replace water damaged areas.
October means it is nearly Elk season. Just finished installing a transfer tank in the back of my bed. I opted for a pump in the tank (with dual filters; one a water block) instead of direct fill because I couldn't find a smaller filter to do the same job. Oil changed, fuel filters changed (for the fourth time), new tires, tire chains and a thumb drive with 5600 songs on it.
My 1927 Ford was on the road for about 89 miles after the new engine was installed. Everything from pan to air scoop is either new (new 502 blower block from Summit) or rebuilt.
Then....the transmission failed. Off to summit again.
