I know I might be asking a lot here, but I can’t figure out where this little sheet metal part goes. Truck was brought home in boxes, and I have no idea where this would go. It doesn’t look critical, but it must have a purpose. Based on the appearance, it must be under the hood but not sure. Maybe a cover with a channel for wiring?

Thanks for the reply, I was just thinking no one was able to help. Next time I’m out there working on it, I’ll look at that option. It’s a good suggestion, I’ll see if there are holes that match up down there. I’ll already run my new wiring, so I hope I left enough slack.
@FarmMotorSports@Highboy4x4 , it may not seem like a big deal to you guys, but I appreciate your help in this “minor” thing. I feel a lot better about my wiring protection in this area now! I was able to get enough slack to get the wire bundle in place.
