Yo, Im relatively new to the diesel world as far as owning one. Picked up a 2011 ford f250 about 6 months ago and love the truck, no issues except a ground issue for the instrument cluster. My dpf got stolen straight ouf of my truck in and vanished without a trace. My question is what options do I have other than deleting, not many as far as I've looked. I could buy a used dpf and a new dpf, but I was quoted over $7000 just for the parts. The people who stole it ripped every connector and broke multiple hangers. The truck goes immediately into Reduced power mode. Ive been looking around at tuners and exhausts but I'm so lost, Any advice on what to do is welcomed. The Imgur link attached are pics of the involuntary deleting of my dpf. https://imgur.com/a/wNSGCLi

Reason: Title Change
your options are a police report and an insurance claim.
tuners now can only come from north of the border and the epa is now going after single users, not just companies.
This is what insurance is for. Call them and let the shop deal with it. Deletes aren't a great option unless you really know what you're getting into with regards to tuners/tunes, in my opinion.
Who commented recently about these new members first post asking suspicious delete questions? hahaha.
@op that sucks. post a pic of the damage. Call insurance that's what it is for!
There's a picture of the damage in the first post. Could be a troll, seems to be someone trying to figure out what needs to happen to get his truck running again. The question was specifically, what are my options other than deleting.
Unfortunately, the answer is a lot of expensive parts were forcibly removed so they need to be all put back in kind. Maybe find a junk yard truck that got in an accident? Maybe that'd get you the DPF and the wiring harnesses, may still need to replace some sensors.

Yeah, thanks for the advice. I’m still looking around, luckily I don’t use the truck everyday just like 2 times a week and have a backup. But still sucks because I’ve loved the truck ever since I bought it. And to the people saying epa spy/troll, well you caught me. Jk, but I appreciate everybody's input.

Forgive us if your not. We are serious about posting about deletes because the EPA is actively looking for individuals who are deleting there trucks. It's amazing that they are cracking down on us like this. Call your insurance agent to see if it's covered under your policy. I am not sure you will find these parts in a wrecking yard as they will want the junk inside to keep and sell themselves. Ether way these parts are expensive. I advise everyone tyo get security cameras. It won't stop them but a video may help the cops track down the criminal.

If you live in an area where emissions aren't tested yearly and you can find a source for a delete kit and tuner I say go for it.
But check your car insurance to see if the theft will be covered.
