Right turn signal problems

Whenever I use my right turn signal my left front signal flashes too, and if I have my headlights on the indicator on my dashboard for the right turn signal is steadily on, and when I go to signal right nothing changes. I know it's probably an issue with the wiring somewhere, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Check and clean the grounds at the bulb fixture.

Maybe this might help.

But i just had a problem like this.
i cleaned all contacts for each bulb and socket they went in to. EVEN the marker lights.

i used an emery board and cut it with scissors to fit in the marker light socket.

Got home and cleaned all the connections to the lights and the grounds, and it still wasn't working, so then I sprayed some cleaner on the blinker thing (not sure the actual name) in the column itself, and that fixed it, so I'm getting that sensor thing was just dirty, thanks for all the help.

That "blinker thing" is called a Turning Signal Switch. At least you got it fixed, you know a cheap Chilton or Haynes manual from the local parts store will help learning the basic names and basic maint stuff.

my actual blinker relay was bad. it was so slow it blinked like once a minute. LOL
the element inside was worn out for sure. new blinker relay now it works like new.
my blinker lights no longer show or dimly glow at night.
