Door weatherstripping

The price of door weatherstripping runs from $30-80 online with Midfifty being the highest and Dennis carpenter being in the middle around $50.

What experience do people have with this and are there particular brands that are better than others?

Weatherstripping can have a pretty broad range of quality so I hate to waste money.

In my experience,, nothing comes close to Steele Rubber. High price, high quality!

I installed the Dennis Carpenter kit that came with hardware as well. I used spray adhesive on both the door and the weatherstrip and reinstalled all new hardware. Has only been about 2 months, but still looks and works great.

I ordered mine from Midfifty, and it was in a Dennis Carpenter bag worked will for my summer driver....but I suspect Midfifty just resells this part.

Most of these parts come from the same suppliers, just tagged and sold by various vendors. When I bought the cowl corners for my '53, they each had 4 different stickers from vendors stuck one on top of the other.
